Market Resolution

Market resolution determines the final outcome and how payouts are distributed to traders.

How Markets Resolve​

Markets on Esperation resolve based on the actual outcome of the event being predicted. When a market resolves:

  • YES shares pay out $1.00 if the event occurs
  • NO shares pay out $1.00 if the event does not occur
  • The opposite shares become worthless ($0.00)

The resolution is based on objective criteria defined when the market is created, ensuring fair and transparent outcomes for all participants.
